TEAM JOBS - 100 points (6 - 8 hours of volunteer time)
Scorekeeper: Keeps score/penalties at away games (6 games);
Timekeeper: In charge of timeclock at home games (6 games) and in charge of submitting game sheet at home games to CDLA;
Shotclock: In charge of the 30-second shot clock at home games (6 games);
Jersey Person: Be responsible for bringing the jerseys to each game, and have them washed on a regular basis. At the end of the season, return cleaned jerseys to the Jersey Coordinator. WASH AND HANG TO DRY.
Social Organizer: Schedule team social event in order for everyone to get to know each other ie: picnic, pizza party etc.
Tournament Volunteer: If your team wants to enter a tournament, locate a tournament through the Alberta Lacrosse website (www.albertalacrosse.com), arrange registration, obtain fees from families for entrance fee, etc.
Photo Person: Ensures team knows when their time is (have them attend at their designated time 15 minutes earlier so they are dressed, lined up and ready to go - no helmets or slash guards required). When the photos arrive from the photographer, this person will pick up their team photos from the Photo Coordinator (or Debbie Goodfellow) and hand them out to their team.
Treasurer - If required if you are going to a tournament, doing a cash call. Please ensure this person keeps track of money received and spent and ensure each family gets a copy of the balance sheet at the end of the year.
Trainer: Must be certified as per ALA Regulations (if they are on the bench). click here REGULATION 18 - Trainers. If anyone took our First Aid course, they can be the first aid person on the team, but cannot go on the floor. This person would also be in charge of updating what was used in the medical kit at the end of the year, provide the kit back at the end of the year. If you run out of supplies, you can contact Frank Natt at firstname.lastname@example.org to get further supplies.
