HORNETS - REBRAND - NEW LOOK
Dear Hornets Members,
We hope this email finds you well, and that you are as excited as we are about the upcoming season of box lacrosse. As the Hornets organization continues to grow and evolve, we are updating our visual identity with a fresh and dynamic new logo.
After careful consideration and collaboration with our logo committee and local designers, we have narrowed down the options to three potential logos, each with its unique characteristics that represent the spirit and values of our organization. Your participation is crucial, and we want to ensure that every member has the opportunity to have their say in choosing our new logo.
What makes a quality logo?
Simplicity: Clean and simple logos are generally more memorable and timeless.
Versatility: The logo needs to be used in a variety of ways (uniforms, website, social media) and in several different color variations.
Uniqueness: The logo should be distinct from other team logos. While using popular logos as inspiration can be useful, you should still create a brand for your team that is different from any other team.

Voting Period: January 5, 2024 to January 14, 2024 (midnight)
Voting Options:
Logo Option 1:
New color scheme matching the World’s Most Aggressive Hornet. Updated stance maintains the same overall aspect and appearance as the original logo. The updated logo provides a timeless, modern look and feel…. This concept was created by the same artist as the “Tampa Bay Lightning” logo.
Logo Option 2:
New Colour Scheme matching the World’s most Aggressive Hornet. Same as the existing Logo with an updated look and feel.
Logo Option 3:
The Logo Design has been simplified by incorporating the lacrosse stick into the body of the Hornet, using clean lines, with scalability and legibility at the forefront. Simplicity and the unique design will contribute to stronger branch recognition and ease of application in a variety of mediums.

The voting period will be open for 10 days, from January 5 to January 15 at midnight. After the voting concludes, we will announce the winning logo, and you'll get a sneak peek at the exciting new direction our organization is taking. More information will be on the website regarding our re-branding, new jerseys, new shorts, apparel store, etc.
