AN OVERVIEW OF THE JUNIOR PROGRAM:
The Junior Program is administered by the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League ("RMLL") - RMLL
**NEW** All players must register their Intent to Play each year with the RMLL, and pay the Player Fee. Players cannot be on the floor until their Intent to . Play is complete. Players can then register with the Junior Wranglers 2 team (via the Hornets website). All fees must be paid prior to the start of the season.
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY IF YOUR PLAYER IS TRYING OUT FOR A HIGHER LEVEL TEAM (JUNIOR A OR JUNIOR B TIER 1) when registering you can choose e-transfer and no fees are due at this time.
JUNIOR PLAYERS: When players reach Junior, they move from "minor" lacrosse to "major" lacrosse.
PLAYER AGES: 17 to 21 years old as of December 31 of the current playing season.
TEAMS: 18 teams divided into a North and South Conference.
North Conference:
North Central Division: Edmonton Warriors, Edmonton Wizards, Sherwood Park Titans and St. Albert Crude
North East Division: Wainwright Wolfpack, Vermilion Roar, Lloydminster Xtreme and Lakeland Heat.
South Conference:
South Central Division: Calgary Axemen, Calgary Sabrecats, High River Heat, Strathmore Venom, and Medicine Hat Sun Devils.
South West Division: Rockyview Rage, Calgary Wranglers, Sylvan Lake Yetti, Red Deer Renegades, and Olds Stingers.
FIRST PLAYING RIGHTS:
Returning Jr. Players - When the player registers for the upcoming Season, the player registers with the Tier II Club of the Team who the player was a Member of (on the roster) in the Season prior.
New Jr. Players Note - If a player, in the last year of Midget, was given a one-year release from their Minor Club to play in another Minor Club, then the player's rights for Junior are held by the Club GIVING the release.
If a player in the last year of Midget, was given a permanent release fro their Minor Club to play in another Minor Club, then the player's rights for Junior are held by the last Minor Club the player played for.
Wheatland Area - Tier II teams have the rights to the players from their respective Minor Clubs. Tier II Free Agents are players where their respective Minor Club does not have a Tier II team.
GELC Area - Tier II Boundaries are as per the GELC Minor Club Boundaries for players from the Titans, Wizards, Warriors and Rams. Players from Beaumont, the Blues, Rebels, Parkland, Leduc and Westlock are Tier II Free Agents.
CALL Area - Tier II teas have the rights to the players from their respective Minor Clubs. Tier II Free Agents are players where their respective Minor Club does not have a Tier II team.
CDLA Area - Tier II Boundaries are as per the CDLA Minor Club Boundaries for players from Rockyview, Strathmore, Hornets, High River, Sabrecats and Axemen. Players from Calgary Knights, and Okotoks Raiders are Tier II Free Agents.
SALA Area - Tier II teams have the rights to the players from their respect Minor Clubs. Tier II Free Agents are players where their respective Minor Club does not have a Tier II team.
Players residing in areas not mentioned above at Tier II Free Agents and may register with the Tier II Club of their choice as long as their are not already on a Tier Ii team roster.
Out of Province Players - Must have an approved CLA Transfer before registering with an Alberta Club/Team.

TO REGISTER FOR THE WRANGERS 2 TEAM
All Players intending to play this season MUST register with the RMLL and pay the ALA/RMLL. The player can then register with the Wranglers 2 Team. Players cannot attend any floor times until such time as they have registered their intent to play with the RMLL and also register with the Wranglers 2.

WITHDRAWAL:
* $150 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program prior to March 15.
* $250 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program between March 16 and April 15.
* NO REFUND will be provided to any player withdrawing from the program after April 15 (approx. league start-up) onwards, except in the event of an injury wherein a doctor's note is
provided. Lack of interest or change of sport, etc. will not be grounds for a refund.
Injury Withdrawals received are subject to a deduction of Team/Admin Costs incurred which are determined at time of withdrawal. Keeping in mind that expenses have been incurred that all player registration fees cover. Please contact executivedirector@hornetslacrosse.com for further information.
