2026 CALGARY HORNETS EQUIPMENT SWAP - FEB. 7 & 8

Hello Hornets Families,

We’re excited to invite you to our Calgary Hornets Lacrosse Equipment Swap happening February 7 & 8 from 10:30 AM to 3 PM at Maple Leaf Storage in Royal Vista (Calgary).

This community-driven, not-for-profit event helps families gear up for the season while recycling high-quality lacrosse equipment within our association.

🥍 What Is the Equipment Swap?

The swap helps families manage the cost of lacrosse by offering safe, gently used gear. Bring items your player has outgrown and exchange them for what they need this season.

🔄 How It Works

1. Drop Off Gear February 7^th between 10:30-3PM
   Bring safe, functional equipment (helmets, pads, gloves, arm guards, sticks). Volunteers inspect and categorize each item.
2. Earn Credits
   Each item earns credits based on its equipment category and condition (Excellent, Good, Acceptable).
3. Swap Day February 8^th between 10:30-3PM.
   Use your credits to choose gear your athlete needs for the season.
4. Check Out
   Volunteers record credits used to ensure fairness for all families.

?? What We Accept

• CSA-certified helmets
• Shoulder pads
• Gloves
• Arm/elbow guards
• Rib/kidney pads
• Lacrosse sticks

(Some hockey helmets may be accepted if suitable for lacrosse.)

?? Fairness & Expectations

To keep things fair for everyone:

• Limit of one helmet per player may apply
• Priority access may be given to new or younger players
• Equipment taken cannot be resold
• Please treat volunteers and families with respect
