CALGARY HORNETS - COME TRY LACROSSE (FREE SESSIONS)
WANT TO TRY LACROSSE BEFORE YOU REGISTER IN 2026? HERE IS YOUR CHANCE BY ATTENDING CALGARY HORNETS' COME TRY LACROSSE (FREE SESSIONS) - NO EQUIPMENT REQUIRED. INDIVIDUALS MUST REGISTER ON-LINE FOR THE DATE THEY ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING. Individuals that register for the season that attended a Try it Session will get a $25 reduction in their fees.
We provide the coaches, lacrosse sticks and balls. All your player will need is to bring a water bottle with their name on it, indoor runners and wear comfortable clothing. We look forward to introducing this great sport to more kids in Calgary.

2026 - NEW PLAYER CAMPS
Calgary Hornets will be holding:
New Player Camps, which are mandatory for all new players. Players attend one of these sessions. Full equipment is required which would include a mouthguard, indoor runners and bring a water bottle with your name on it. This is a time to go over equipment to ensure you have the correct fit and we can answer any questions you may have.
Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes before your session so you are ready to hit the floor at the start of the session.
Players must register for the camps so we know how many will be attending.
1st Date - Session will take place at Spray Lakes Sawmill Sports Centre, 800 Griffin Road East, Cochrane.

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE SEASON BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER FOR THE MANDATORY FREE NEW PLAYER SESSION AS A RESPECT IN SPORTS FOR PARENTS NUMBER IS REQUIRED DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
NOTE: Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to give you time to get dressed so you are ready to head onto the floor promptly for your time slot.
